This would be a great recipe to make with kids. Have them crush the
cereal with a rolling pin and then sprinkle onto the dipped
marshmallows.
Ingredients:
- 6 ice cream plastic sticks or round wooden sticks with one pointed end
- 6 large marshmallows
- 1/4 cup cereal ( your kid's favorite cereal works best )
- 1 bars (1.5 oz each) milk chocolate candy, unwrapped, separated into pieces
Method:
- Insert one stick into each marshmallow. Place crushed cereal in small bowl.
- In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate uncovered on high for one minute, stirring twice, until softened and chocolate can be stirred smooth.
- Dip each marshmallow halfway into melted chocolate, then roll in cereal. Place on plate; let stand at room temperature until chocolate hardens for about 1/2 hour.
